billing and recovery · available
Settled is not the same as paid, and Opelis keeps them apart.
Client bills, receipts, deductions, security deposits, withheld amounts and performance-guarantee recovery, in a ledger where billed, settled and cash received are separate numbers.

The ₹1,00,000 between them is security deposit ₹32,000, withheld ₹40,000 and other deductions ₹28,000. Each one stays visible as a recoverable hold until it comes back.

Recovery, tracked until the money is back.
01 · what stays visible- Security deposits
- Held per contract, with the release conditions and the date it should come back. A deposit sitting with a client for years is a line a director sees every week.
- Withheld amounts
- ESIC, PF and other reimbursable holds, recorded on the receipt that created them, with a recovery status of their own.
- Performance guarantees
- Bank guarantees awaiting release, with instrument, bank and expiry, kept out of cash figures until they are returned.
- Payment due
- What has been billed and settled but not received, with an owner for the follow-up and the number of days outstanding.
