tally · available · stage one

Your accountant keeps Tally, Opelis keeps the job.

Export vouchers from Opelis to Tally and read them back to reconcile. Tally stays the accounting ledger. Opelis adds job-level control and evidence around it.

How it works: export, then read back.

01 · stage one
  1. Export vouchers

Purchase, receipt and sales vouchers are prepared from Opelis records in a form Tally imports. Operational estimates are never posted as accounts.

  2. Your accountant imports

The accountant reviews and imports into Tally the way they do today. Opelis does not write to your books on its own.

  3. Read back to reconcile

Opelis reads the posted vouchers back and confirms each one reached Tally, so the job and the books agree.

Honest scope: what it is and is not.

02 · boundaries
What stage one does
Export and read-back. Enough to keep the job and the books reconciled without anyone retyping vouchers.
What it does not do
Opelis is not an accounting system and does not replace Tally or your accountant. Stage one does not sync in both directions, and nothing is posted to your books without your accountant.
What comes next
Deeper reconciliation is planned with feedback from accountants using stage one. Nothing on this page is promised beyond stage one.
