The questions behind every review meeting

You should not have to chase
five people for one clear answer.

01 / MONEY

“The bill is raised. Has the money arrived?”

See bills, settled amounts, deductions and actual bank receipts separately. Know what is paid and what still needs follow-up.

Follow the money
02 / RECOVERY

“The work is complete. What is still held back?”

Keep security deposits, withheld amounts and performance guarantees in view after the project work is done.

Keep recoveries visible
03 / RESPONSIBILITY

“This needs attention. Who is taking it forward?”

Keep decisions, handoffs and the next action tied to an owner. Give tender, operations and finance teams a shared starting point.

Connect the handoffs

An example from the product

A settled bill is not the same as money received.

Follow one sample bill through the Financial Ledger. Each amount answers a different question.

Illustrative sample data, not Swastik’s records or results.

01 / THE BILL

What was billed?

Sample gross billed amount: 8 lakh rupees

The bill is ₹8,00,000. The recorded settlement is also ₹8,00,000.

02 / THE BANK RECEIPT

What actually arrived?

Sample cash received: 7 lakh rupees

The bank receipt is ₹7,00,000. Settlement alone does not tell you how much cash arrived.

03 / THE RECOVERIES

What is still held?

Sample security deposit held: 32,000 rupees; withheld amount: 40,000 rupees

₹32,000 is held as security deposit and ₹40,000 is withheld. Keep both in the recovery review.

The remaining ₹28,000 in this sample is other deductions. Not every difference between a bill and bank cash is money still due.

A director’s experience at Swastik

Opelis has made my day-to-day work much easier. Information that used to take endless phone calls and hours of searching through paperwork is now in one place. Most importantly, it helps me track and recover outstanding amounts.

Start with one team or workflow.

How getting started works
01

Bring a process that is difficult to keep track of. We look at what happens today and what needs to be clearer.

02

Choose the first workflow

Choose a starting team or workflow. Review records, responsibilities, access and the support your people need.

03

Set up with the founder

A note from the founder

I knew these problems before I wrote the software.

I grew up around my family’s government-contracting business in New Delhi. As the person everyone called for tech support, I saw how much time went into keeping track of records, payments, recoveries and responsibilities.

The story behind Opelis

Is Opelis right for your company?

For the work that continues after a tender is won.

Designed for Indian government contracting companies coordinating tender, operations and finance responsibilities.

A useful fit when you need to

  • Review payments and recoveries across active contracts.
  • Keep tender decisions and project handoffs tied to responsible people.
  • Give management a view of the records teams maintain.

Be clear about the scope

Opelis is not a government portal. It does not promise tender awards, payment collection or a replacement for every accounting function. Existing-tool integrations and historical imports need a separate scope review.
